About SSC : The Staff Selection Commission has been set up by
the Committee of the Parliament in 1967-68. The main motto of setting up
of this commission was to conduct examinations for recruitment. The
commission is headed by Chairman which is supported by many officers and
staff members. The Headquarters of the commission is located at New
Delhi. The main responsibility of the commission is to conduct the
examinations smoothly all over the country, so for the convenience of
students there are seven Regional offices and two sub- Regional offices
in different parts of the country.
